Change is a process. Keep things simple and be reasonable with your expectations. Also, give yourself permission to not be perfect with the process.
What is one mindset shift you can make that you know will have a positive impact on your goals?
Speaking of goals, this would be a great time to set goals for yourself that you want to make happen by the end of this month.
One goal might be to be more proactive when it comes to your wellness by being careful about putting too many processed foods into your body.
Why is this a great goal?
Do you know how processed foods can affect you?
Studies show that food additives affect the following:
- Appetite control
- Brain function – can cause “brain fog”
- Weight gain
- Quality of sleep
- Concentration (as well as ADD/ADHD)
- Energy levels
See what you notice about the way you feel when you eat processed foods (bloating and headaches are also possibilities, in addition to the list above).
I’m not sure in this day and age that it’s realistic to eliminate all processed foods, but the more healthy, whole foods you eat, like veggies the more nutrients you’ll get and the better you’ll feel. Remember, there are almost always healthier versions of what you like.
